Newborn skin is very sensitive and I believe many parents know this but are completely unaware about the fact that many points need to be kept in mind while shopping and maintaining our little heart’s clothes:

/ Do check for the elastic used in pants/leggings/pyjamas, they should not be too narrow, the broader the elastic the better it is for the baby.

/ Mittens & Socks should not be tight and again the elastic used should not be tight enough to restrict blood circulation.

/ The fabric used should be very very soft such that it does not cause skin allergies.

/ Lastly try using a fabric softener or conditioner for washing baby clothes, the detergents used for washing our clothes are not suitable for baby’s skin as it contains strong chemicals and fragrances which are not good for babies.
