How the Process Works

Step One

Choose your Quilt,Visit the Order Page, and submit the form.

This will begin the process! Once the order is received, you will receive detailed instructions for step two.

Step Two

Prepare your items, ship them to us ( if required request for pickup ), or drop @ Sweet Root Store.

Once we receive your items, we will confirm receipt. Your order is placed in a Queue. We will discuss details of clothes received. Work in progress will be updated during the production process.

Step Three

Complete your order and receive your quilt!

Once production is complete. Will share the final image of your newly created memory quilt. You will need to pay the balance of your order, then your new quilt will be shipped to you!

Prepare Your Items

Baby Clothes

Preparation – Sorting, Choosing, and Marking your Items

Clothes need to be pre-washed. If you are shipping your clothes (pickup facility is available), rolling is a great option, as it maximizes space and reduces wrinkling. DO NOT CUT YOUR ITEMS YOURSELF.

Clothes Marking:
NOTE: EMBOSS clothes are the one which are not going to cut and stitch as it is

#1 Emboss Clothes
Clothes for small emboss (Mitten, Booties, and Caps etc.) if any.
Clothes for Medium emboss (Dungarees, Frocks, Pants, T-shirts etc.) if any
Clothes for Large or thick material emboss (Large Dungarees, Jacket, frocks etc.) if any
#2 - Clothes which need to be highlighted in tiles pattern. (In case not mentioned, Designers will chose as per their discrimination)
#3 – Regular clothes for tiles pattern. ( We try to utilize all clothes for tiles pattern. However few clothes might be left out as per design pattern or it can not fit for tiles)
Marking your items individually is only necessary if you want more control.

Here are answers to some common questions.

What does the customer need to provide?

Simply give us your washed baby clothes and we design a custom quilt, piece by piece, out of your clothes, attach a backing using machine quilting, and bind it with a coordinating fabric. The cost of the quilt covers all materials and labor other than your clothes
How many clothes do I need for each size?

SMALL : 15-20 , MEDIUM : 20-25, LARGE : 25-35, X LARGE : 45-55
What kinds of baby clothes can be used?

Any type of clothing can be used but some common choices are rompers, onesies, pajamas, shirts, dresses, costumes, swimsuits, and sweatshirts. Any bib, mitten, booties, cap, sock, etc( emboss items ) you need us to utilize will either fit onto a square or on top of the blanket once it has be sewn together. Whatever you have available, we will try our best to make sure it gets into the quilt.
How long will it take to make my quilt?

Our typical turnaround time is 2-3 weeks from the time we receive your clothing. A little longer for additional quilts.
How do you handle stained clothing items?

We consider stains or fabric discoloring as part of the memories tied to your quilt. if we are able to cut a smaller tile and leave out the stain, we will.
What are the Specifications?

How do I ship my clothes to you?

After you order, we'll provide you a shipping label from the comfort of your home for pick up as per your request date. Or you can send with any courier service as per our address.
How much is shipping?

We ship your completed quilt to you for 299 with "Standard Shipping and Handling for Quilts" . The standard turnaround for this option is approximately 1 week.
Do You Sell Gift Cards?

Yes! The gift card can be redeemed for the size listed on the card.
What are the payment terms and accepted methods of payment?

UPI and NetBanking are accepted. Payment needs to be paid before the despatch of your memory quilt.
